Xander and I got stuck in Charlotte, NC for a full two and a half days. Eventually, with one short ride from a trucker and an 80+ mile ride from a couple of 16-year-old girls, we made it to our friends' place in Asheville, NC. The town is pretty cool. It's not very large, but it seems to have a decent amount of a hippie feel to it, and a strong yuppie presence means there's plenty of fancy food to get.
